About Deb
Deborah "Deb" Guzman

Owner | Massage Therapist
I’m Deborah (Deb), a certified Massage Therapist and Ayurvedic Wellness Coach with more than 20 years of experience in healthcare. My professional journey began behind the scenes in healthcare administration, where I focused on policy, procedures, and quality of care. While I valued that work, I couldn't ignore what I felt was missing—a more personalized, integrative approach that cared for the whole person, not just the diagnosis/symptoms.
That realization led me to massage therapy and eventually to Ayurveda, where I found a beautiful balance between modern science and ancient wisdom. I remain committed to lifelong learning because the more I grow, the better I can serve those who trust me with their wellness journey.
One thing that's important to me is how I view my role. I don't believe I "heal" people. Rather, I help create an environment where the body can do what it was designed to do—restore, rebalance, and heal itself. Through therapeutic touch, Ayurvedic principles, and compassionate care, my goal is to support each client's path toward greater well-being.
I also believe that if we want holistic and integrative healthcare to continue earning its place alongside conventional medicine, we must uphold the highest standards of professionalism, education, and evidence-informed practice. Don't get me wrong—I absolutely love the "woo-woo" side of wellness. But I also deeply respect science and believe the most powerful approach is one that honors both. When ancient wisdom and modern research work together, everyone benefits.

Massage Therapist
As a Yoga practioner, I believe the time we intentionally set aside for ourselves is essential for meaningful transformation. The breathwork practiced on the massage table often reflects how we navigate and manage stress in our everyday lives.
After stepping away from the corporate world, I discovered my passion for making a positive impact in my community through the National Holistic Institute. It was there that I met Deb, experienced her powerful energy healing, and was inspired to deepen my knowledge—especially in Ayurvedic practices.
Over the past year and a half, I’ve had the opportunity to work alongside a chiropractor and an acupuncturist, integrating both Western and Eastern approaches to healing. By blending neuromuscular therapy, trigger point referral work, cupping, and gua sha, I’m able to address client pain concerns in a more comprehensive and holistic way.

Massage Therapist
I am a certified massage therapist specializing in Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM), sports and deep tissue massage, and assisted stretching. My work is grounded in applied anatomy and biomechanics. I focus on identifying the specific restriction patterns in fascia, muscle, and connective tissue that may be contributing to pain or limited mobility, with the goal of addressing the underlying cause rather than simply masking the symptoms.
My approach is built on a simple premise: the body has the capacity to heal and self-regulate when it is placed in the right conditions.
Every session begins with an assessment to understand why a particular movement or pain pattern exists before I select the techniques best suited to address it. Depending on the individual's needs, this may include IASTM to help improve tissue mobility and glide, deep tissue and sports massage to address chronic tension and support recovery, or assisted stretching to help restore functional range of motion.
Rather than focusing solely on relaxation, I work with my clients toward a clearer goal: measurable, lasting improvement in how their bodies move, feel and function.
